About Me

Originally from Los Angeles, California, I set out on frequent travel adventures around the world. Upon traveling to Nassau, Bahamas I saw an amazing culture with much to explore, but had no idea where to start.

Much more than "Just a Beach"

It's an island, its surrounded by beach, right?! Not so much! Despite the fact that we are on an island, there are some beaches that are known to be better than others. Sure you can pull over and park yourself and your towel anywhere along the coast, however there are some beaches that will fulfill your beach dreams of the Bahamas! As beach brats, we like to spend our time where there are minimal rocks, light fluffy clean white sand, and clear blue water for days! Besides the obvious hotel beaches, there are three that I would like to mention here. If you are on the western side of the island, I have two suggestions.

1. Nirvana Beach- A cool little beach with a good combo of tourists and locals. There is a little bar/restaurant there with decent food and drinks. But besides for that, if you head to the right of the restaurant there is a beautiful little secluded cove, with beautiful views and a nice place to rest your beach gear for the day!

2. Jaws Beach- This beach has more of a Family Island feel. Surrounded by trees, and secluded in a little cove, this is a great little beach to get your BBQ on and hang out with friends and family!

If you are East, there is in my opinion, the best of the best. Cabbage Beach! Cabbage beach is located after all the hotels, but right before Ocean Club Estates. Here you will find beautiful white soft sand, and blue water that will make you feel inclined to take selfies all day!
